Solution: D7 Consulting selected Freedom Chemical’s Guardian-PD™ systems to provide long lasting protection for the rooftop area. Project was done removing all current pavers.  The combination of the products used provided excellent thermal stability, quick return to service and durable installations with no odor, which was ideal for the facility.

Challenge: Formerly known as Two California Plaza, 2Cal is a 52-story, Class A office tower with approximately 1.28 million net rentable square feet is located in the Bunker Hill District of downtown Los Angeles. The building is part of a two-tower office complex and retail/restaurant pavilion that shares amenities including a 1.5 acre water court with a 90,000 gallon fountain, and performance plaza The 25,000 sqft root top was leaking and needed to be replaced. The previous layout was buried with pavers (you can see in the pics) which needed to be removed prior to priming the area. CIM needed a durable, long lasting, quick return to service system and the building was occupied so no odor was critical during application.
