Freedomtuff 2245cr
Project description: in 2006 tetra technologies approved freedomtuff 2245 cr as a liner system for their holding tanks. The solution varies some but constantly has some amount of hydrochloric acid which is why the ft 2245cr was selected. The project show here (april 2011) was one of many jobs that has been completed over the past years with the ft2245 cr.
Application: the area was cleaned with high pressure (5000 psi) water wash . The tank was then blasted to a 6 mil profile. Next the ft2245 cr was applied at 80 mils thick. The project was confined space so special ventilation and safety precautions were required.
